Epagoge — επαγωγη

From the Ancient Greek, roughly translated as the bringing-in or leading-toward. The term appears in Aristotle's logic as induction — the process of deriving universal principles from particular observations.

The name reflects the company's approach: universal mathematical principles of reliability and behavioral measurement, applied to specific commercial and defense applications. A principle from cybersecurity becomes a system for building safety. An observation about systems architecture becomes a method for behavioral threat detection. Induction — leading-toward — from the particular to the general, then back to new particulars with commercial application.

We do not sell frameworks. We sell the specific, engineered applications that frameworks make possible. The framework remains private. The applications speak for themselves.

Small, focused, and building for durability.

EPAGOGE operates on long-horizon thinking. Infrastructure-grade cybersecurity technology is not built in eighteen-month timelines. Patents prosecute over years. Commercial adoption of novel architectures requires sustained credibility development. The company is structured to execute over a decade of disciplined development.

Growth priorities are ordered: establish validated commercial deployment, secure government research funding through SBIR/STTR programs, prosecute core patent families to issuance, build a technical team anchored in Utah, and extend licensing and partnership agreements from a position of defensible intellectual property.

EPAGOGE is currently self-funded and pre-revenue, with active pursuit of government research contracts and strategic commercial pilots. The company evaluates capital partnerships selectively, prioritizing alignment with the long-horizon development model that infrastructure-grade cybersecurity requires.

What the company does and how it operates.

Approach

Engineer and Protect

File patents before commercial disclosure. Build working prototypes with measured performance. Document results with disclosed limitations. Deploy under appropriate confidentiality with qualified parties. Prioritize durable technical position alongside commercial progress.

Approach

Operate in Utah

Every hire, every expansion, every facility will be located in Utah. The company's commercial benefits flow to the state that registered it. Utah's technical community is the talent pool from which growth will draw.

Approach

Thoughtful Disclosure

We share product capabilities and validated performance data openly. Detailed portfolio materials and technical architecture are available to qualified evaluators under mutual NDA. The staged disclosure model protects both EPAGOGE and the parties we engage with.

Approach

Patient Commercialization

We prioritize the right deployment at the right time over the first deployment at any time. SBIR Phase I, commercial pilots, and SAFETY Act designation are sequenced to build credibility before scale. Partnerships are evaluated for strategic alignment, not urgency.
